#Vmware horizon view client display scaling not working windows 10
I think policy is better:ĭ/en/VMware-Horizon-Client-for-Windows/5.4/horizon-client-windows-installation/GUID-81B739A0-51BA-4BFF-AA26-90BEAD0AEC0D.html /en/VMware-Horizon-Client-for-Windows/5.4/horizon-client-windows-installation/GUID-81B739A0-51BA-4BFF-AA26-90BEAD0AEC0D.htmlĪre u using IGEL-OS or Windows 10 IOT on a IGEL client? If you are using IGEL-OS then you have set a registry item within the VMware Horizon Session key in the IGEL profile (no Windows registry offcourse). You can also do this by registry and policy. Key path Control PanelDesktopWindowMetrics Our Group policy we apply to local windows 10 devices makes the following registry changes: I am not sure what registry settings I would need to change. When using IGEL as the local OS the Scale and Layout that is passed thru is grater than 100% depending on what display resolution that is set with Display switch when we first setup the user on the IGEL device. This local setting passes thru to the View session. When we use a computer with windows 10 as the local operating system we have to make sure the user logged in locally has display -Scale and layout is 100% (We do this with group policy for the local user account).

One of the applications only displays correctly if the windows 10 display – Scale and layout is 100%. We use horizon view with a windows 10 non persistent desktop pool.
